Spotlight on Our Residents!
With over 160 sales, Tamaya’s residents surprisingly have a lot in common… with the vast majority coming from just a 5 mile radius of the community. The family situations, however, are quite diverse; 50% having younger or older children still at home, 25% retired or close to it, and 25% are younger professionals without children at the time of purchase. Our residents come from all walks of life! Managers, sales professionals, bankers, medical professionals, attorneys, business owners, clergy, educators, and military personnel… just to name a few. And of course, we have a lively group of active retirees who bring their life-long experiences with them. A nice mix of folks who are weaving the tapestry of Tamaya, with lots of great “future neighbors and friends” possibilities for all!
Tamaya’s Grand Entrance Is Taking Shape.
Westside landscaping is just about finished and really makes a statement! Eastside landscaping which will include an elaborate water feature is coming along but WOW, who knew we had to dig water works the size of two swimming pools to make it all work? When complete, it’s really going to be something. Roadside landscaping along Tamaya Boulevard is also nearing completion. The guard house got a final punch-out this week and is looking good. The large lake located just south of the access gate has been reshaped and will be sodded all the way around in coming days. Especially designed to offer an idyllic view to our residents as they return home each day, this scenic vista is accented by a white-washed gazebo, sitting on a small rise across the water. Nice. The new entrance will be fully operational in late fall, timing to coincide with the closing of the Beach Blvd entrance and the grand opening of the Residents Club.

The drywall process will begin next week and the interior spaces will begin to really take shape. Rough-hewn Tuscan tile will soon be adorning the club’s roof, giving an elegant look to its massive façade. The state-of-the-art fitness equipment is on order and the pool pavilion is making steady progress. And good news: the process of recruiting Tamaya’s lifestyle coordinator is now well underway with plans to hire and install just the right person by late summer. Grand opening is still on target for late fall and what an opening it will be! Stay tuned for exact date, which will be announced later this summer.
Tamaya Sales are hot, Hot, HOT!
June was a very busy month racking up more sales than in any of the twelve preceding months. Buyers purchased in a variety of price points in “almost sold out” Bella Nina neighborhood and “just released” Bella Nika neighborhood. Everything from the new 50ft home sites to the 60, 75 and 85ft home sites were chosen, as well as a variety of both new plans and old favorites. One of our new plans, the BROOKE-#3564, with eight sales since its debut earlier this year, is rivaling the ever-popular Marabella-#3060. But, the super-star making the biggest splash is the brand new SERENA-#2402, with five sales in just three weeks. For Future Residents that Just Can’t Wait?
Brand-new inventory homes are flying off the shelf offering buyers a much shorter wait time to move in. If you know families that just can’t wait to build, three of Tamaya’s most popular homes are available for quick move-in, so spread the word. Or, if you know someone who wants to buy now at today’s prices and move in later, the existing model homes are now for sale with a lease-back. These luxury “Builder Models” will go quickly. In fact, the first one sold last week! A new “Street of Dreams” model row is planned adjacent to the club and will open in 2017.
