JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2014) – A new master-planned community of 2,400 homes on one of Duval County’s largest undeveloped areas will offer future residents a unique combination of in-town living, resort lifestyle, and exceptionally designed Mediterranean-style custom homes.
Located halfway between the beaches and Downtown Jacksonville, Tamaya will span 780 acres off Beach Boulevard between Kernan and Hodges and include a spectacular clubhouse, a rich mix of amenities, resident concierge service and an adjacent town center with more than 500,000 square feet of commercial/retail space.

A vision center will open in mid-March to welcome Tamaya’s first visitors and a$4-million model park, dubbed the “Strada di Sogni,”or Road of Dreams, will open later in the spring. The northeast division of nationally-ranked Top 100 Home Builder, ICI Homes, headed by division president Don Wilford, was selected as the builder for Bella Nina, the first phase of Tamaya. Construction began in December on the first 169-home enclave and it is now taking shape.
