It begins with Tamaya’s 10,000-square-foot Residents Club, which serves as the anchor for resident amenities.
The Residents Club sits in the heart of the community and features a 5,000-square-foot fitness center, social and meeting spaces. 
Arrayed around it are two resort-style pools with a cabana and two-level slide, a playground, expansive event lawn, and basketball and tennis courts. It’s open daily for residents and their guests to enjoy birthday parties, meetings and even weddings!
Tamaya’s amenity center hosts an array of events every month, such as a Christmas-in-July pool party, movie nights and live music on the event lawn. Don’t miss Food Truck Fridays for dinner.
If smaller gatherings are your thing, you’ll also find neighbors circling up friends for cookouts, driveway parties or walking groups.
Fun and games near Tamaya
Psst! — Jacksonville Beach is only six miles west! Tamaya residents can fully indulge in a staycation, or entertain visitors, by sampling Jacksonville Beach’s numerous restaurants, parks and attractions.
In summer, lifeguards regularly patrol Jacksonville Beach’s white and golden sands (a great perk for families), 
but its beaches are a go-to destination any time for strolling, shelling, reading, surfing — you name it. Just be sure little ones are accompanied by adults during non-lifeguard seasons.
Adventure Landing, a longtime Jacksonville-area fun spot, is only five miles from Tamaya. Here you’ll find much to expend your energy on, and compete over with family and friends — Shipwreck Island Water Park, go-karts, mini golf, an arcade and laser tag. An on-site café serves hungry gamers and splashers, and Adventure Landings can accommodate parties of various sorts for all ages.
A newer Jacksonville-area activity — Topgolf — is only 5.5 miles southwest of Tamaya in the St. Johns Town Center shopping, dining and entertainment corridor. It’s a two-level driving range and digital golfing extravaganza, but you’ll also enjoy food, snacks and drinks (including adult beverages) and the opportunity to plan golf-themed events and parties. Topgolf offers summer golf camps for kids, golf lessons, and provides a welcoming atmosphere for all — from families to date nights, to corporate outings. Bring your own clubs or rent them!
